How to Add Text to Images

- Open the image into your graphics software.
- Convert the Data Type to True Color.
- Be sure anti-alias is checked to avoid jagged edges.
- Add your text.
- Add a text shadow
- Optimize image back to a .GIF format (256 colors)

How to Effectively Navigate this CD

The CD version (not the download version) when inserted into your CD-ROM drive should auto-start your default browser. If it does not, using Windows Explorer - double-click on the index.html page. This will open the page using your default browser. You may also type the direct file location on your hard drive or CD-ROM into your browser's address bar.

This CD consists of a sampling graphics database of 350 metallic images. To access the graphics, click on the Graphics Index links at the top of this page or the index.html page. The graphics.html (Graphics Index page) is a complete link list for easy access. Graphics are categorized by metallic finish: gold, silver, etc. and grouped by the texture/style. Click on the sample image to access each individual group, ie. Gold 1, Gold 2, etc.

To copy an image to your hard drive, simply right-click on the actual size image and choose File > Save As. Clicking on the "Home" link on each page within a group will take you back to The Graphics Index page.
