To start a new quiz, after the application is started you can immediately select "Create New Quiz Stack". This will bring you to the Editor. The Editor is where you can create a new quiz or modify an existing quiz. A new quiz doesn't yet have a name, so at this point you can click in the field at the top, which initially reads "Quiz", and set your quiz name. The next step it to start creating new cards. To do this you can either hit the 'return' key, select "New Card" from the "Card Stack" menu, or use the key combination "shift-cmd-n". When the new card is created the cursor will be set to edit the question of the new card. At this point you can enter the question and then the answer. If you hit enter while nothing is being actively edited you will create a new card.
You may also want to add images to your questions, either as the question itself, or to accentuate the question. You can drag and drop most image types onto the cell in the table view and MemWell will import that image. In the editor table you can also enable/disable the question and enable/disable speech synthesis. If you enable speech synthesis the question will not be displayed, but spoken instead. This is useful for spelling quizzes.
